We use a regular bib at mealtime, but when it comes time to paint we put on the smocks. My son doesn't love wearing it anymore, but it does keep his clothes clean.
Great alternative for babies who like to pull off traditional styles of bibs during meals. Very good coverage in general, although my little one has needed to grow into it for better coverage under the collar. Thin material that moves easily with baby. Washes incredibly well in the washer and drip dries very quickly. Worth the cost to me, as my little one's clothes are well protected from mealtime stains now. I like that he can grow with it too.

Versatile product
I love, love this item. It is large, has elastic at the wrist, and snap closures. It is used at mealtimes now; no messes on long sleeves or shoulders or necklines. It is easy to open if you have dirty hands, just pull apart. It is easy to clean. Wipe after use or throw in the washer. Will last a long time.

A must for a toddler learning to eat
When my son started feeding himself we started going through a lot more clothes everyday. Not only was it a pain to do more laundry but, he was staining his clothes. I can actually give him his evening bath put him in his PJs and then feed him knowing his clothes will stay spotless. This is the only bib I can find with elastic at the wrist. Other bibs with sleeves and no elastic allow food to get on his sleeves. If the mess isn't too bad I just wipe the bib down after each feeding and then throw it in the washing machine and air dry at the end of the day. I purchased a second bib within a week.

My son did not like this.
My son started feeding himself and I needed something that would cover him up. Unfortunately, my son did not like the collar and the elastic around his wrists. I am saving these for when he gets older as a craft smock.

Smoke for eating and olay
I bought this for my daughter when she started solid foods in her high chair. It is so helpful to be able to remove the smock and rinse it in the kitchen sink (it is washable however; hand dry) - instant clean-up and saves clothes from stains. Now that she is a toddler, we use it while she paints! I highly recommend buying at least one if not more to have on hand!
