This multi-stage chair grows with your child, going from a highchair to a booster seat to a toddler chair. It even makes a great desk chair, meaning it will never be outgrown. Why it's a giggle pick: We love its sleek design and practical functionality, not the mention the fact that you'll use it for years to come! Who it's perfect for: The parent who wants a multi-stage, Scandinavian-style highchair that's a little more compact. Click here for more product details .

Perfect size
My son loves this highchair. His feet and rest easily on the little foot stool, the tray is not too big and not too small. It's compact for tight spaces, but even if I lived in a huge place, I'd still get this chair. Easy to clean. I like that it's made out of wood and adjusts as he gets older. He could also sit at the table with it. It's very cool.
My kid has the coolest highchair - lucky little ducklet. Her Svan Highchair (tray cover and cushion too) look tremendous in our house. Our house isn't big enough to camoflauge a multi-colored, plastic masterpiece of a high chair, so wood was the way to go for us. The Svan is Scandinavian-designed, finely crafted and adjusts from six months through the teenage years which helped justify the expense. Love the Svan!

beautiful piece of furniture
We received this high chair as a gift, and love that it fits in so well in our dining room. Rathan than sticking out like a sore thumb, this high chair is sleek and modern and looks great. I love that the cushion can be changed up as well with several bright color choices.

great choice
we originally had ordered a different high chair and when we opened, we found out it was too big and bulky for our city condo and we had to return it. That was great because we changed it for the Svan chair and I totally love it. It blends with our decor, it is small but very solid and stable and we can move it everywhere even though it doesn't have wheels. It is light but really safe. Love it!

good design, grows with child
We've been using this highchair for a year and a half. I love that it has a small footprint and doesn't take up much room. The plastic tray is removable which makes it easy to clean, but the rest of the chair does have some nooks and crannys where crumbs hide away, so you have to be detailed cleaning the chair after meals. But besides that - we love that the wooden tray removes completely and now my son sits right at the dinner table with the rest of us.
We love this highchair. We live in a small, modern city apartment and it fits right in. Our little girl (10 months old) is on the small side and she literally swims in other highchairs. In the Svan she sits very upright and comfortably. I think it will be great when she is able to sit at the table with us as well. great buy!

wonderful color and style
I love this high chair, matches my cabinets perfectly so it goes great with my table and kitchen. I love that is adjusts for older kids. I do wish it was taller and went up higher. I also wish it had a larger tray or adjustable back. I guess you sacrifice those things for it to look like a piece of furniture and not a high chair. I am not sure I would have bought it if I had seen it in person since it is so compact. Great if you live in a small space and are not worried about the small tray.
I was torn between the Svan and the Tripp Trapp and the tray of the Svan and the fact you can hang the tray on the back sold me on the Svan! I absolutely LOVE it!!! Its also compact (fits under my breakfast bar) and fits in with all the furniture!
We are so pleased with this high chair. It is perfect for pulling up to the table for family mealtimes, and is easy to use and clean. It is comfortable for my son, and is continuing to work well as he grows. I know we will get much more use out of this chair than if we had purchased any other kind of high chair. The design fits well in our home, and it doesn't take up much space either.
I wanted a high chair that would look elegant in our dining room without looking too modern. I also didn't want plastic. This has been a great high chair for our son.

As advertised!!
This chair is useful as advertised! Our daughter is one and has been sitting in her Svan high chair since she took her first bites of rice cereal. It's adjusted as she grows, and it blends into our design aesthetic. The removable tray and seat cover are key for messy eating. We love the Svan chair and would recommend it to anyone looking to add a place to the family dinner table.

Compact and secure
This is a great highchair for both small spaces and small babies. My son is 6 months old and was able to sit comfortably in it (without slouching) before he was sitting independently at 5 months. It's very nice that you can adjust sizing many different ways so they aren't drowning in a huge chair. It looks great, cleans up easily enough and the tray goes all the way around him which is helpful. (You just have to make sure you have "arms up" before you secure the tray so you don't get shoulders, hands caught). Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.
Compact highchair that pushes out of the way in our small kitchen. Super easy to clean tray, cushions and chair. Love the style of it too! Definitely worth the price as this will be around for awhile!
This high chair is the best! It looks great and you can continue to use it as your child grows, ultimately as a regular chair. The tray and tray cover are really easy to remove so you can clean them as is the chair cushion.
This is the perfect high chair! It matches my home decor and better yet, it's made FOR my child. It adjusts with him as it grows and allows him to be a part of our family. Thanks Svan for creating something beautiful, functional and safe.

Great chair, but you need the plastic tray cover
When our oldest (who's now 5) was a baby, this was the first (and only) high chair we purchased. When we first bought it, Svan did not make the removable plastic tray, and the wooden tray got pretty worn after a few months of use. It's also more cumbersome to clean than the plastic tray. If you buy this chair, definitely buy the plastic tray cover that goes along with it. We really like the compact, attractive design, and the chair is quite light weight and easy to move around. (On several occasions, we loaded it into the minivan and took it with us to friends' and relatives' houses.) When our daughter (and later our son) got older, we took off the tray part of the chair and just sat them at the table. For both children, we used the chair without the tray more than we did with it. As for the chair cushion, try doing without initially. I'm not sure how much more comfortable it makes the chair, and it's one more thing to have to clean. We ended up buying a Stokke chair a year or so ago, and it seems like the Stokke chair is a better fit for older, larger children. It is a little bit bigger and heavier than the Svan chair. That said, the Svan chair still fits my 5 yrs old and 2.5 yr old, but they seem to be more comfortable in the Stokke at this point.

Looks great in the apartment!
Very nice looking and easy to use/clean high chair for my infant. Doesn't take up too much space and blends into the dining area well. It was recommended to me and I have recommended to others.
