How about a lift? The Stokke Xplory has a higher seat position for easier eye contact and interaction. And, when your child is facing away from you, it lets them enjoy the view without having to look at kneecaps all day long! Why it's a giggle pick: We love the great design that's supremely maneuverable and allows for greater interaction. Who it's perfect for: The urban parent who doesn't need all-terrain functionality but does want great design and a single-hand fold. Click here for more product details .

Favorite Stroller
My daughter slept in this stroller until she was about a month old, then we switched her to her bigger bassinet. The bassinet feature is great because when you're out with the baby, you always have somewhere to change the baby. An option you don't have with the car seat or seated strollers.
The best baby accessory I ever bought. The upside I get to see my baby at all times he's always at eye level and I can roll up up directly to the table when we are at a restaurant. The only downside people love to comment on how cool the stroller is and stop you on the street

Excellent Stroller!!
I LOVE this stroller!! It is absolutely worth the investment!! My son has truly benefitted from being positioned higher up(in the seat) than traditional strollers. It has helped him with his cognitive developmental, visual stimlulation, and social skills. We live in San Francisco and it has been the perfect stroller for city living. I highly recommend it! The only minor drawback is that it is sometimes hard to collapse the base. The mechanism sometimes sticks. It loosens up over time and with repeated use. This is my only very minor complaint about Stokke Xplory. Get it--it's worth it!

Great stroller but it has its limitations
I love this stroller, but it is not for everyone.
The pros:
First it can be a bassinet fir newborns and a great changing table when you are on the go. When it is a stroller it can be in any position and hight you could want. No other stroller can do this. (Front, back, laying down, upright, slight tilt back and up and down.) It is a high chair when you need one, trust me you will need one. It can be used on two wheels on escalators safely and stairs. You may run into people telling you that your stroller should not be on escalators but they have never seen this stroller. When used at the beach the two wheels save you all the grunting and shoving. It is very smooth and nimble. All the parts are very durable and have lasted durning the past 1.5 years with heavy use. Great construction considering all the moving parts. The handles move to any position, even if you are extremely small or tall this can fit you. The ride is smooth and very easy to push and handle. The break works well considering it is only on one side. Light and easy to pick up and put into car.
The cons:
Its is expensive. No cup holder. Does not break down very small and the first few times setting it up and breaking it down is a bit frustrating. Not good off road, not good on gravel and hikes. The stroller is best used in urban areas but can be used on two wheels and can get you through rough areas (thats a pro).
Considering all the facts and if you are considering a high end stroller like a bug a boo, try this stroller out and think about all the things the bug a boo can not do which this one can do. I am so glad I bought this stroller over the bug a boo and I am sure you will to.
I love this stroller. I love the fact that your child is up higher, it is great for walking to a restaurant and eating out side! Also the pram is great because the baby is cozy, my son fell asleep on every walk!! The stroller has a ton of options with the child's comfort in mind my son is 2 and he does not mind going for rides at all. The only short coming is it does not fold up super small, but I guess that is what umbrella strollers are for!

Almost the perfect stroller
I Love love love this stroller except for the basket bag! I wish it was bigger to hold more. Once I have my diaper bag that pretty much fills it up, no room for a little extra (bag for toys and what not) I do have the bag holders attached to the handle but it would just be nicer to have more room underneath to keep a few extra goodies in. I do LOVE how my son can sit straight up facing me or angle a little or lay all the way back to nap while we are out and about. I also LOVE how we just roll up to a table to eat and don't need to move into a highchair. The height adjustments is perfect also for shorties like me or a tall guy like my hubby. This stroller is a bit pricey but in my opinion well worth the cost. This almost perfect stroller is \ my favorite baby item that I have purchased!
I had no idea the looks and comments I would receive getting this stroller. Honestly, I purchased this stroller because I loved that my son would being able to see all the things kids usually miss in the standard stroller. The stroller has been all that I expected it to be. The one thing I did not expect was how often I would be asked about the stroller, see people pointing at it, staring and whispering about it. I kind know what a celebrity feels like.
But more about the features of this stroller, I ran into a woman who also had the Stokke and she told me about an incident she had with the stroller, which made me feel my investment was worth every penny. She was crossing the street and a car ran into her and the stroller, if it had been a standard stroller the car would have hit her baby but because of the height the carrier the car bumped the middle of the stroller and her baby was fine as was her stroller!
We love the Stokke stroller and there are so many reasons why. We have a 6 month old son and the Stokke stroller is one of our best investments for him since he is born. The basinet is great. I was very comfortable with him sleeping in the basinet because it has a good mattress and baby's back can lay flat. In the beginning the stroller was the only other place our son would sleep besides our arms, which made it our lifesaver. Our son is now big enough to sit in the upright position and he loves to look at us and everything around him, especially people and everybody loves the stroller and him so he gets a lot of attention! Besides this, the stroller is very light (you can manage with one hand and carry it if necessary), the shopping bag is huge and the stroller is easy to fold.
We love the design. The only thing that we don't understand about the design is the way the parasol is positioned if you have the stroller in the upright position: It is not possible to pull down the sunscreen all the way if you are using the parasol.. however, that is a minor detail. Overall we love the Stokke and would choose it again if we had to!
It's stylish! It's pretty compact! It takes a bit to close up but not a big deal! We love the height adjustment. We love the way it reclines. We love almost everything about this stroller. We just don't like that there aren't any cupholders or snack trays for baby or parents. And we haven't found one that will fit on it yet either LOL. And we also wish that it had a bigger storage compartment underneath. The wheels run so smoothly though. We love this stroller and would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Stokke Xplory
We have used our Xplory since the first day we brought our baby home. We have had it for 6 months now, and it is the absolute best purchase we made for our baby. She loves being up high, and we love it too. I cannot say enough good things about this stroller.

Really fantastic
This stroller is really very perfect for us as we can walk to many shops, trader joe's, etc. My daughter gets to enjoy the view and interact with people and it keeps her entertained and happy. People are ALWAYS saying hello to her: on the street, at shop counters, etc. I am so used to it and love the stroller that I forget that it's a totally different concept (having your child close to you) than we are used to. People are always making comments on how cool it is and asking me about it. I've had quite a few people say "why didn't someone think of this before?".
I've flown a couple of times with it as well and it travels very nicely. I was surprised to see it fit through the conveyor belt at security! It's super maneuverable and smooth. I had a ton of stuff with me on my last trip and was able to steer the stroller with 1 finger :)

Glides with ease!
My husband and I live in downtown San Diego with our daughter. Therefore I wanted a stroller that is easy to maneuver in small spaces and is narrow enough to easily glide through the narrow aisles of stores. This stroller not only encompasses those two features but has pleasantly surprised me with other great features. My daughter loves that she is eye-level with me as we stroll down the street. The shopping bag is great to stuff all those shopping bags in - especially when you don't have the trunk of a car available. I also bought the diaper bag - I love that it is hard cased which prevents me from over-stuffing it. This stroller is definitely the Rolls-Royce in the stroller world. I can't get over how easy it is to maneuver - even with one hand. I get so many compliments on how great it looks which is also nice.

Incredible stroller
This stroller is great. The best feature is that my baby sits eye level with me. When we go for a walk we can communicate and spend quality time together (also I don't have to be concerned about curious dogs approaching him). The stroller maneuvers very smoothly and is comfortable because I don't have to bend over. It converts to a high chair, and we've used this feature several times. Many restaurants in NYC do not allow strollers so if you live here this should not be your main reason for purchasing the stokke. Originally, my biggest concern was that it would be difficult to fold and fit into a car trunk - however - in about five minutes I learned to quickly fold it up - it is easy.
I wanted a stroller that was not so common like the Bugaboo and but met my needs as well. The height that the chair sits is a major plus with interaction and attending to your child. Being over 6 feet tall, this stroller makes everything easy for me. The ability to lower and raise the seat is another plus when eating out. I can control/steer the stroller with ease with one hand in crowded places. This stroller is an eye catcher... I always hear comments when using it in public. Now for the improvements that can be made...first off, it would be very helpful if the stroller can fold with the seat in place. Having to take the seat on and off every time i need to store in the car is a pain. Also, A built-in footrest that does not have to be taken on and off to switch from forward facing to rear facing would be excellent. Taking the entire footrest off is not very user friendly. And lastly, a cup holder. At least sell a cup holder accessory and child tray. Overall, the stroller works as it should and meets the features it claims by Stokke.
So many people talk about how many strollers they have bought in search of the perfect stroller. With seven plus strollers you've more than paid for this stroller and the stokke comes with everything you need from birth to walking. Love it! Love it! and it does fit in the car and it has a tight turning radius so it's easy to use everywhere.
Soooo easy to fold and travel with. Complete set is a best buy with toddler seat, car seat adapter, and bassinet! Eye catcher as well!

Best investment we've made!
Living in the city, I love that my daughter is higher off the ground and that I can position her facing me. The bottom storage is WONDERFULLY large -- I can fit multiple shopping bags of groceries down there. The durable and stain-resistant upholstery removes for easy cleaning, and Stokke supplies you with raincovers and mosquito nets too. The only downside for more suburban types is that the stroller is a bit heavy and cumbersome to take in and out of a car. All in all though, this is a terrific stroller and we love it.
