Bugaboo single-handedly redefined the stroller market and is still one of the hottest strollers around. True to its name, the Cameleon lets you mix and match colors on the base and tailored fabric so that you can find your own unique style! Why it's a giggle pick: Bugaboo has long been one of the best premium all-utility strollers on the market. Who it's perfect for: The parent who wants a fully-loaded, multi-stage stroller they can use from day one, with best-in-class suspension. * Note: Because you can mix and match colors, the base and fabric will be listed as two separate items in your shopping cart and registry; however, you will receive a complete stroller. I've loved my Bugaboo Cameleon since the day it arrived. When my son was tiny, we used it around the house as a bassinet. We also walked into our little town a lot using the bassinet because our boy loves motion. I used the wheeled base with the car seat until about the 6 mos. mark when out and about. It took a few outings to get the adapters down pat - I'd put them on the wrong side or try to click them in incorrectly - but by and large the car seat adapters worked very well. My car seat looked very sporty on the wheeled base. Now I use the stroller seat daily for walks into town or when running errands. We've used the stroller on the beach but probably won't do it again. It's just as easy to carry my son over the dunes! Last summer, when he was tiny, we used the bassinet on the beach and it was super.
That said, I have a few complaints. I chose this stroller because both my husband and I are very tall and wanted a good extending handle. Every other stroller I tried, I kicked the back of it. The handle has been great but one of the screws that holds the adjustor tabs keeps coming loose. We have had to replace it once with a hardware store jobbie and I'm keeping my eye on it now. Also, I wish the 5pt harness tightened up a little tighter. My son is long and slim and the straps are loose.
Overall, it's been a great stroller for me. I have used it in fields, on roads, and on the beach. It lives up to the hype.

Great for strolling, not for driving
This is a very smooth ride for the baby, with a comfortable mattress. Bassinet is great for napping while out, although it is quite large. Stroller has a comfortable grip and is easy to maneuver, even on rough NYC streets. However, it is cumbersome to fold up and takes up a lot of room in the car, so it is difficult to put in a car and a lot of work if you plan to put stroller in car on a regular basis. When using the bassinet, an accessory to block the sun from baby's eyes is a must!

Versatile, well - stroller.
I purchased this stroller as a baby shower gift for my sister. It's a great all-weather stroller. For example, the sturdy wheels are great for navigating snowy sidewalks in the winter. In warmer months, the convenient two-wheel option allows you to push your baby on sand without unnecessary drag from the wheels. Although the stroller is more substantial than your typical umbrella stroller, it isn't too bulky or cumbersome. The tailored fabric washes easily; this is a plus given a baby's many messes!
One of the best features of the Chameleon is its numerous customizable configurations. Please note, however, that some of these unique configurations aren't intuitive. You should definitely practice changing the configurations a few times before you take it out for a spin. Make sure you show your nanny/babysitter how to manipulate these settings too!
You'll love the Bugaboo Chameleon. It's great value for your money.

Perfect for NYC
I love this stroller and would have been lost traveling in NYC and spending the day outside without it. Our daughter was born in the middle of December and through snowstorms and rain storms and ice pileups and whatnot the stroller was a pro at handling all of it. I love the multiple recline positions and it seems really comfortable. The bassinet for the newborn stage was what made us choose the stroller over others and we haven't ever looked back since!

Amazing!
The Bugaboo Cameleon is amazing! It serves as a bassinet, stroller, and base for the car seat. It is definitely worth the investment! We travel often and love to take walks and the Cameleon is perfect! Very stylish also and durable.

Great Stroller, but missing some bells & whistles!
The Bugaboo Chameleon is a great stroller overall...very sturdy, suburb steering, and light weight!! This stroller is a bit hard to collapse with all of the parts that you have to take off and the basket is almost impossible to get to with the bassinet and/or car seat (I haven't tried it with the seat yet). Other strollers are really raising the bar with ease-of-use and additional bells and whistles. I highly suggest watching the demo videos and playing with the stroller in person before you make your decision.
When I was shopping for strollers the Bugaboo Chameleon was the "must have." It was definitely worth it. The bassinet feature was great for the first few months as was the ability to just snap the Graco car seat into the stroller base. It's very easy to maneuver too. I often push the stroller with one hand while walking my dog with the other with no problems.

The best baby product we own
We have a maclaren and a city mini, as well as a bugaboo. And although we don't fold up the bugaboo and toss it in the back of our car (hence the other strollers), it is perfect for walks in the city. It is easy to push, manages bad sidewalks and streets easily and is completely versatile. I've never had a single problem with it!
We got this stroller as a gift when my daughter turned 6 months old. She would never sleep in her stroller -- Until this one! We call it her LIMO RIDE. It is smooth. If the sun is in her eyes when she is facing out, within seconds I can rotate the bars and flip it so she is facing me - it is really amazing. My only complaint about this stroller is that it is a tad bulky, and takes up a fair amount of space in my trunk. (I have a Honda Accord). Overall, I would recommend it.

Great for on-the-go. Not so great for travel.
This stroller is fantastic for long walks, jogs and maneuvering in country or city. However, it is very difficult and awkward to fold down and put into trunk. Better suited for family with SUV so entire stroller can be loaded into vehicle without needing to break it down. Holds up well. All fabric portions are washable but don't dare dry (they shrink). Accessories are pricey but worth it. Ability to adapt car seat is a life saver for those first few months. Entire stroller is guaranteed and Bugaboo customer service is great. Go directly to Bugaboo, not retailer and they are amazing.
I am in love with my Bugaboo! Its function has grown with my baby and has met our need all along the way. It is durable and comfortable. Plus, Bugaboo's customer service is outstanding! Thay have been so friendly and helpful. This stroller is definitely worth the investment.
If you live in a city and plan on strolling a lot, this is a must. The ride is smooth and grows with the baby which I have loved. It is not a traveling stroller though (big and bulky) so plan on getting a lighter stroller for cab rides, plane rides etc. Definitely get the converter for the graco car seat!

The stroller to have
we have racked up thousands of miles on our Bugaboo, it has lasted through two kids. Have checked it at the gate while flying (did not buy the travel bag) just be sure to get two tags for each component. We also have a double Chariot --but the Bugaboo is my first choice for strolling around any city. Have taken it to the beach in CA and FL, as well as, on walks in December in MN (w/rain canopy).

this stoller rocks!
The bugaboo is an amazing, versatile, comfortable, sturdy stroller. I am still using my first bugaboo with my second kid. i love how is lays completely back and is ergonomically designed so that my kids can sit or nap comfortably in it. i bought new canvas when my second kid was born, but functionally it still works great! i also find it to maneuver really smooth and makes for great urban walking.
After 3 kids and 5 various strollers from other famous brands, this is one of the better ones we've had. It's stylish - great colors to choose from. Best of all is, I love it for maneuvering, pulling and pushing in rough terrain, including the beach. The wheeled board is a hit with my son who loves to ride on it and stay on it!
The downsides are that it is bulky and not ideal for travel as you have to disassemble into 2 (or even 3) pieces -- not the best if you have 3 young kids to go through security or wait as you check-in the stroller at the gate.

heavy and requires four hands!
The bugaboo cameleon is beautifully made and handles exceptionally. However, its bulkiness and collapsing process really takes away from it's versatility. I started out with the cameleon in a major city with stellar public transportation. However, I could only use it to go places by foot, as you need both hands to collapse it (to put in a taxi trunk or board a bus) so where does baby go in the meantime? For the same reasons, plus its heft, taking it down into a subway station is also an impossible task. Also, it's so big and bulky I had trouble maneuvering through many stores and crowded places.
I have since moved to car culture city and this very expensive, luxurious stroller has been demoted yet again -- it is now only for neighborhood strolls. It's just too big to lug in and out of the trunk and set up and break down at every stop. Furthermore, I could not even fit the whole thing (collapsed!) in my mid-size sedan trunk. I bought a lightweight umbrella stroller for the car, which I am thrilled with.
Gorgeous, sturdy and lovely with the bassinet setup for a sleeping infant to join you next to the table in a restaurant -- that is if you've managed to lug it there and fit it in between the tables.

Love this ride
This is the best stroller for the city. It is easy to navigate, store and travel with. It looks great and is easy to clean. I wish that it was a bit easier to breakdown and it would really help to have a second child attachment. The standing board isn't appropriate if your child in still a toddler.

The Ultimate all round stroller
The Bugaboo has been the ideal stroller and travel system for us. From birth the bassinet was used daily not only for strolling with our baby but for nap times and also night sleeping for the first 7 weeks in place of a crib. Its compatibility with the maxi cosi infant car seat allowed us worry free mobility in the early months. As our daughter graduated from the bassinet to the infant seat she was comfortable and secure with 3 different positions from fully reclined to upright. The fact that the product is under an automatic 2 year warranty on the chassis is an added bonus as we have truly put this stroller through its paces and should anything need replacing / fixing it's good to know they will oblige.
Great stroller!! We live in New York and for the bumpy sidewalks, snowy weather, and busy streets this was a great stroller. I felt like my baby was very comfortable and secure. She would fall asleep the minute we put her in it!!! The only problem is it is a little heavy and took up a lot of room in the car.
