The best by far!
I really did my research when I was pregnant last year with my second child, and this stroller system stood out to me immediately and consistently. I flew to another country (with a connection mind you) with my baby when he was 3 weeks old using this stroller. I was able to navigate the airport security line with one hand, it was so easy! At this point in my life with a second child, there weren't too many things I felt I needed this time around, but an easy to use and efficient stroller was a must! And this is it! You will love the 360 degrees swivel ability, especially when you're in a restaurant or if you're walking the baby and the sun is hitting his/her eyes and you want to turn the baby around while walking. I also have the Orbit bassinet and use the car seat on the bassinet base when we're at home. I love this thing so much, I'm constantly giving impromptu demonstrations wherever I go---in the airport, a restaurant, 7-eleven, you name it!! I used to scoff at the thought of spending a high amount of money on a stroller but this is worth every single penny! And easy to clean too!
While I love the high safety rating, it's too heavy for me. I'm about 5'4" and weigh 120 lb so maybe I'm too small or out of shape but it's quite heavy!
It does move smoothly which I love but I think that has to do with the air-filled tires. Mine deflated after 6 uses, which is fine because it does come with gadgets to fill the air but it's cumbersome.
I didn't think about having to use the seat belt when I want to use it as a stroller for my newborn. I should have purchased the bassinet that you can purchase separately but I didn't get it because I read and was told that I don't use it that often. But, now regret not getting it because I think I could have gotten many uses out of it!
While it's convenient to have everything in one, it's too heavy.
We purchased our Orbit in May 2008. We had our son in September 2008 and loved every minute we could use our Orbit. My husband was a little apprehensive about the price of the stroller, but he quickly became a walking salesman. People stopped us all the time to inquire about our stroller. He was quick to give them the full demo. We love the rotating feature. It is helpful when dining out or keeping the sun out of your little one's face. Also, being able to put the car seat in the car and then turning it was a back saver! The fold-up size of the stroller was also one of our favorite features. Most baby items are so bulky, but the Orbit takes up very little space. The sun shade and paparazzi shield were especially nice even for us non-celebrities! It prevents you from having to drape a blanket over the car seat, and it stays in place beautifully. The pod diaper bag was also a bonus as you could take it off and carry it with you.
We had a slight problem with the cover of our car seat. We contacted Orbit. The customer service was impeccable. We were sent a replacement within 2-3 days.
The Orbit Travel system has been everything advertised and more. I love that we can build on the infant system with toddler seats for the car and stroller. Unlike other car seats, the Orbit completely surrounds the baby and has been easy to keep clean by machine washing the fabric cover. My husband and I are both thrilled with this product. Orbit's president has sent three emails addressing Consumer Reports testing of the car seat which is comforting to know that they care about the product on the road and not just the sale at the register.

Orbit is the best!
As a new mommy, I decided I would make one expensive purchase and I am so happy I did. I love this stroller! A friend of mine and I were pregnant at the same time and were deciding on strollers. My friend chose the Bugaboo and I chose the Orbit, she's wishing she had made the Orbit choice. When we go out she's always commenting on how she wishes she had opted for the Orbit. She's jealous of how easy it is for me to fold and unfold the Orbit quickly with one hand and of course taking your little one out of the bassinet and putting them in the car seat is a breeze when your car seat faces you. No complicated moving required so baby stays asleep. A nice thing about the Orbit Bassinet is that it has a rocker to sit on so it's off the floor and rocks. The Bugaboo's has to sit on the floor. Strolling around town is great and I get more compliments and stares because it's different in looks than other strollers. I have to thank my hubby for my decision. He wanted to have a stroller that looked stylish and modern. So I got the orbit because I wanted him to feel comfortable strolling around town with something he liked. He loves taking our little one out and about with this stroller. Also, the ease of the car seat is a blessing for my mom who is petite and in her 60's. Not to mention that the car seat has some of the best ratings. Definitely worth the money! Why buy an expensive stroller and then have to buy a car seat when you can get it all in one?

Sleek and easy to use!
I just bought the Orbit and while I'm still waiting to use it (another 8 weeks to go) I am already loving how easy it is to put together and break down for storage! I have also purchased some of the accessories, like the bassinet and panniers, and they both look great on the stroller and attach and come off easily. I love how great the stroller looks and can't wait to use it!

fantastic stroller
when my1st son was 1 we got rid of our peg perego when i discovered the orbit. i only wish i had known about the orbit before he was born. well now that my 2nd son is here we use the orbit for him and i cant say enough great things about it. the bassinet that snaps into the orbit is the best invention ever. the rotating car seat makes life so easy getting the baby in and out. the toddler seat is great . i could go on and on about my rave reviews for this stroller.
We love the orbit!!! Could not ask for a better stroller. Easy to use. High safety standards. Allows you to upgrade. My only gripe is that they don't make a double stroller!!
looking for a stylish and practical stroller? this is it! we actually have debated between bugaboo cameleon and orbit, but thanks god that we chose orbit. since his birth, we have traveled quite often with our baby-domestic/international, and orbit system has been working out so well for us. all of my baby-expecting friends decided to get orbit after they saw my baby riding in it. he is now 10 months old but still fits in the infant system. we are planning to get him a toddler seat next month. every penny is worth.
The Orbit has made our lives so easy! It is the ideal stroller for those who are often in and out of the car. The ease with which you can move the infant seat from the stroller base to the car is beyond compare!
Love, love, love the infant stroller system. Got it in 2007 when my first child was born, and it traveled well (really convenient in NY city cabs), and held up so well that my 3 month old is currently enjoying it too. We did extensive research when I was pregnant two years ago, and hands-down this was/is the best system on the market. The main reason we liked it so much (other than the full cradle of EPS foam) was that it was idiot proof for our technologically "challenged" parents- once you put the car seat on the base and swivel it around, it automatically locks and you can't get it wrong! The convenience factor of putting the baby in facing towards you and then swiveling to the rear is reason alone for getting this system. I'm not a huge fan of the toddler stroller seat, but I LOVE the toddler car seat!
Love it! as long as you dont get the stroller seat
Firstly, I would like to say that I am a proud Orbit mom. I love the one handed fold and the lightness of the frame. I love how easy the car seat snaps into the car base and how sturdy and safe it is. I appreciate the compactness especially when I load it in and out of my car. I enjoy how intuitive the travel system is,the surprising spaciousness of the pod and the convenience of the cup holders. I love how it strolls, turns and maneuvers in general. I love that the material is washable and I love that my child loves the stroller too.
The only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because I feel like the stroller seat option (an important part of a stroller system) was severely lacking. See my post on that for more info.
Altogether - I would buy this system again and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in and out of a car.
When my first son was born, this system had just come out on them market, and the toddler pices weren't yet available, so we couldn't justify the expense. Now for our second, we splurged, and are SO HAPPY that we did! My oldest is now in the toddler car seat, and my infant is in the infant carrier. We recently went on a cross-country flight, and brought the toddler car seat and chassis with us through the airport. It was so great to be able to put whichever child needed to be pushed in the car seat, hang bags on the stroller, and carry our coffee to boot! The chassis is so durable that we weren't worried about leaving it at gate check. We checked-in the infant seat and car seat base. So, when we got to our destination, we had the complete system! With this second child, I've also eliminated the need for a diaper bag. The Orbit cargo pod is always packed and ready to go. For another $80, you can buy a spare to keep it fully stocked in the car/home... still cheaper than a high-end diaper bag!

completely worth the cash
After exhaustive research about whether or not this would be the right fit, we bought the Orbit and haven't looked back since. Even for the first flight with baby on my own, it was worth it. The multi-function and space saving is so nice to have, especially in the first year. It's the right mix of function and form. It's a durable and comfortable car seat and the 360 base is undeniably a back and time saver. We also purchased the bassinet and that's where our son slept his first three months. We've now purchased the toddler car seat and the toddler stroller seat and while nothing will ever compare to the initial infant system, we're happy with it. The Orbit system makes traveling a dream comparatively. It's so nice knowing that you will have car seat upon arrival and a stroller that's compact. It's well made, well designed and customer service is top notch.

best around
The Orbit is the BEST stroller i have ever seen/used. The Smart Hub docking component is absolutely genious. I cannot imagine getting the car seat out and to the stroller (and vice versa)without it! It makes getting the baby in and out so incredibly easy! It eliminated the awkwardness of having to get the baby in and out with the seat facing backward etc. People literally stop me on the street to look at the stoller. I can never say enough good things about it! There is not one thing i dislike about this product. I highly reccommend the Orbit to any parent looking for a truly easy and extremely safe stoller/car seat combo!

love it
My husband and I love this stroller. The infant seat is easy to use and we love how we can turn/rotate the seat for us to see and access our daughter.
We decided to spend the money on the gear that would get the most use on a daily basis. It was worth every penny and we have no regrets. I find myself demonstrating the stroller to interested people everywhere! (that might be the only drawback - the amount of attention!!) I have a VW bug and needed a stroller that would be easy to fold and very compact; the Orbit is the most compact I found. I also value safety and found the car seat to be the safest on the market. This car seat takes a baby up to 22 pounds, longer than others I researched. My son is 10 months and is still comfortable in his infant seat. We are getting ready to move him to the Toddler seat that fits in the same car seat and stroller base. Durability was also important - we don't want to reinvest for baby #2. It has held up terrifically and is easy to clean. The base is very easy to install and can be switched from car to car literally in 2 minutes. We love the Orbit!
I have no regrets with buying this stroller. It has worked out nice, is soooo functional, and the look speaks for itself. The stroller couldn't be easier to open and close and I love that the infant seat functions as the car seat. The only issue I would say the infant seat has is that it might not work for the full year intended if your baby is a bit on the chunkier side. We had friends who had to sell their Orbit after 3-4 months use. Our baby is 9 months old and a bit taller for her age and we're getting ready to transition her out of the infant seat.
We bought this stroller when it first came out and we were expecting our first child. It was really between this system and an Uppababy. The reason we went with this system was it's true ease of use and the fact that the infant car seat is one of the SAFEST on the market! You really can collapse the stroller with one hand and you can easily put a sleeping baby in and out of the car with no waking!!! Really. The only reason this isn't a true 5 star is that all of the accessories are separate and very expensive. You spend 1000k up front and each and every piece is over 100 - even the travel bag. :-(

Supercool and sturdy.
We love our Orbit -- we get asked about it a lot, especially in restaurants when we swivel our baby to face us at the table. Drawbacks are: no decent storage (we've never used the pod bag) and the very heavy carseat. But then again the weight of it indicates its high quality materials, so we lug it around when necessary.
