Multi-Purpose Superstar
Not only did the BebePod Plus meet my needs for space conservation, but it truly does help baby learn to sit and develop hand and eye coordination. The little toy attachment was a favorite. My daughter sat alone quite early, and I have to wonder if the chair didn't play a part in her accomplishment. While the chair doesn't have straps to attach securely to a dining room chair, it is portable and works well to feed baby in the beginning days of solid foods. At 15 months, we are still able to use the chair (minus the tray) for those special occasions when we take lunch to the living room so we can dine with Elmo.
My mom has the cute pink Bumbo at her house. I opted for the bebPOD Plus (plus because it comes with a tray and a toy) - mostly because the red, shiny, molded, foam seat struck my fancy. And, after a little while, my wee one could pull the tray (clearly an afterthought for the Bumbo people) right off with less than herculean strength. This type of seat only last for a few months and so it's a nice-to-have, for sure. However, our daughter was able to sit and participate in lots of activites she otherwise wouldn't have with out the bebePod and so it was a must-have for us.

Too small for big babies
I really wanted to like this little seat for my baby - at 6 months he wasn't quite able to sit up on his own and this would give him the boost he needed (and give my arms a much-needed break!). But alas, his chubby legs just barely fit in the leg holes and it was obvious he was uncomfortable. I'm sure for thinner/smaller babies this would be a godsend, but not for us.
This chair has been a lifesaver! Our son sits in it for quite a while playing with the spinning toy, taking the table off and on, and just sitting up enjoying the view. Excellent gift idea!

Great product for average size infants
My daughter loves this product... she would sit in it for hours and play with the toy when she was very young to when she was 1 years old by herself.... Used it for teaching them to sit up, to watching baby einstein movies, to feeding time. Couldn't have been happier. It's soft and squishy and the only issue i found is if your child's thighs are really fat, like my daughters, then they can't fit into this until they start crawling or walking.

Handy product for babies & parents!
The "bebePOD Plus" is great! Every family should have one! Helps baby to sit up when they can't quite do it on their own, and gives mom & dad's arms a break! They can play with a toy or have a snack!

Great for Training
We used this item to help train our child to sit up - for sitting on their own and in their high chair. The item was super easy to clean, was soft so there was no concern about injury and easy to store. We used it until the child was no longer able to fit in it any longer. Great item for play time as well. We are just disappointed there is not one for older children!
This is one of those baby gifts that is always perfect, especially since it comes in orange which is a very popular color for baby nursery decor. This upgrade is superior to the Bumbo because of the vivid colors and the fact that you don't have to buy a tray separately.
I think any mom would welcome this seat because it lets them put their baby down (safely and securely) in front of them so that they can interact face-to-face. It holds up even the floppiest of babies (I started putting my son in his at 12 weeks) and is super soft - nothing uncomfortable about it! The tray is also great because if you are not using the attachable spinner toy, you can put down one of two decorative inserts to give your baby a different pattern to look at.

Can't live without it!!
Definitely my favorite item right now. I love the tray for meal time and I love that my baby can sit up on our counter and be close to the family. It's light weight and easy to pack in the car for roadtrips or days over at grandma's. This is a must have item!!

great seat!
we started using this seat when my son was 3 months old. he is big for his age. it is great because is gives them a new view. he also loves the spinning toy that attaches to the tray. its nice that the toy detaches and can be used individually. we also used this for feeding time before we got a highchair.
i love this, i have the watermelon at my house and the kiwi at her grandmother's. She loves the toy that attaches to the tray and so far she's only pulled it out once. she's throwing everything else she plays with so it's nice to have a toy that you don't have to pick up and hand back all the time ; )
The seat does hold your baby upright but my baby was NEVER comfortable in it. He much preferred the Bumbo seat. We did like the tray though. The seat just isn't as deep as the Bumbo.
