great infant car seat
I loved this infant car seat. I felt it was very safe and secure, and we used it with the Quinny stroller system as well as our exclusive car seat. We commonly brought our daughter asleep in her car seat out to eat at restaurants and loved that it was light enough to carry around. I felt it was easy to snap into and out of both the car base and the stroller base.

good but not perfect car seat
i am currently using the maxi cosi carseat and like it overall--but here are my pro's and con's.
pro:
-easy to carry. i've noticed that other people comment on how its easier to carry than the graco snugride.
-excellent head support for small infants. other infant seats sometimes need an additional head support pillow. this car seat does not. it keeps them comfortable and in a good position.
-pretty easy to use with the mircolite toro stroller

cons:
-i do not like the entry into this car seat. the infants' legs need to be put through the leg straps which is easy at first but more difficult as the infant gets taller. i think my child will outgrow this seat at about 27-28 inchces.
-the puzzle piece buckle is difficult to master at first. practice before doing it at the hospital for the first time!!

i will definitely use this car seat for my second child. good choice overall but not without flaws.

okay not great
I chose the maxi cosi car seat over the graco snug fit more for looks than anything else. We live in the city and didnt think that we would be needing to use it often. Turns out we have been using it daily with our stroller since our daughter is still on the small side and doesn't really fit in the seat of the stroller so well yet. my first gripe is with the hood. it doesn't stay up. Unlike other infant car seats where you can pull the hood all the way forward to protect your baby from the sun, the maxi cosi barely stays put in its set position. My next gripe is that I am constantly pulling the fabric back over the frame as my daughter kicks it up all the time. just a bad design flaw in my opinion. next gripe is the locking mechanism. If you have a squirmy screaming baby, trying to coordinate this buckle can give you a headache. lastly, the depth is great, it supports my daugthers head beautifully, but it doesn't allow me to use 3rd party bundle sacks as they are made for products much more shallow. I do love the color and my daughter is comfy in it, but I felt to point out some things that I wish somebody would have mentioned to me.

Good car seat...but
I like the Maxi Cosi seat...the pros are this:
- sturdy feel
- easy to carry on arm compared to other infant seats b/c of the way the handle is curved.
- nice colors and fits with my Quinny stroller great allowing me to use it as a "snap and go" type of system during the infant stage

The cons are:
- The buckle is ridiculously designed where you have to match it up to the other piece like a puzzle in order to snap it together. Who needs a puzzle when they are trying to secure a baby?
- I have found that the base and the seat tend to not secure to each other very easily. I have to play with it more than I want to to hear the "click" that ensures me we are ready to go.

If this seat were to last longer than the infant stage, I'd rate it much lower. But, since it's just the infant stage - I give it a "good". I would say however, there are better seats out there.

Simple good design
It's very lightwieght. Nice features like the jersey knit cover, mesh canopy, infant pillow insert, and padded shoulders. We installed it in the back-middle seat of our VW Jetta and it is a little tight. Probably not the best choice for a compact car. We had to bring the front seats forward-but it works fine.

Overall it is great, but base sticks!
I just LOVE this car seat... my daughter loves being in it and it's fairly lightweight all things considered. I use it with my Baby Jogger City Mini (bought the car seat adapter) and just love everything about it except for the carseat base. The base sticks so its hard to get the carseat unlatched from it to take it out.

Not the best
It is kind of a pain to snap in the baby using this car seat, and it is kind of small. I do not recommend it unless you use it with the Quinny.

Nice car seat overall
Nice car seat overall
Overall, I like this car seat. It looks nice and has held up well. Compared to the other models we looked at I think It is comfortable for our baby.

The things I don't like:

My baby gets really hot in the seat
it's difficult to adjust the shoulder straps, especially when the seat is in the car.
Doesn't fit my car very well and I have an older volvo wagon.

Really light weight
We have loved the Maxi Cosi carseat because of it's simple design and light weight. The only thing I don't like is that you have to hold the buckle sides together in order to click it in. The car seats that allow you to click each side in seperately are a little easier, but other than that I love it!

some drawbacks but good overall
In general I have found this carseat to be comfortable for my baby. He also is still in it at 9 months, which makes for easy transport in and out of the car. I wish the sun visor had more coverage, though. Sometimes I have to pull it off the back of the seat and bring it forward because the sun is in my son's eyes. It is a little tricky to get in and out of the Quinny Buzz 4, but with some practice I got used to it. I also wish that the pad at the central buckle was anchored down better. I pull it out by mistake often.

love the modern look
This car seat has alot more room than the peg perego I used to have. I love the modern look, gets alot of attention. Love that it sits into my quinny stroller, however its a little hard to remove the car seat from the stroller base - needs a liitle practice.

A little small
This seat is lighter then the Chicco however, it seems a little smaller. I doubt this seat will last long as my 2 month old already needs the newborn headrest taken out because it crowds him. We get compliments on the color and style all the time though! Also, I would like to mention if you have a sweaty baby this may not be the seat for you. My son seems to sweat alot when in this seat so he can't be left in it to snooze very long after car rides.

Great colors and baby is comfortable
We bought the mico infant car seat because it was adaptable to the Stokke Stroller we have. Not only was it adaptable, the colors also match.
I do have trouble sometimes with the safety belt, but I probably would have that problem with every car seat..

Love it
Love this car seat. Comfortable and fits into the quinny frame so we can take him for walks around the city and return in a cab if we walked too far! Our baby always falls asleep when we are driving with him in this car seat.

Light and Easy to Travel With!
We live in the city, and I love that this carseat can be buckled into a car (i.e. a taxi) without the base. That means I can snap it out of my Quinny Buzz (so easy to put in and take out) and click it into the taxi in just a few minutes. I felt so confident roaming around New York with this seat. When I went to my parents' suburban neighborhood, or went to a restaurant in the city, it was so easy to snap the seat out of the stroller, and I didn't feel like my arm would fall off while I was carrying it around. I gave it only four stars though, because I do think it isn't as plush as it could be -- it's a bit sparse and the sun shade didn't hold up as well as I thought it would. I would still buy it again though!

Great seat!
I originally had a Graco SnugRide for my youngest daughter. It was bought for us as a gift we had not registered for. I used it once and couldn't bear the thought of putting my little girl back in it to go anywhere. It's all plastic.

After a ton of research, I decided on the MiCo. There is a metal bar that holds the carseat in. Although sometimes it can be a pain to snap in, it makes me feel safe knowing that the seat wouldn't destruct on impact if anything every happened. It is a solid carseat, yet it is not overly heavy. My daughter looks very comfortable in it. The only downside is that there aren't many strollers this seat fits in, but if you aren't looking for a travel system, it's not a big deal.

lightweight and cute design
This car seat was one of the lightest weight at the time I purchased it and it really did make a big difference esp. as the baby grew. I loved the color choices and the fact that it would fit onto all of the Quinny stroller bases. It was safe and we never had problems with any of the buckles or straps. We bought an additional base and used it for both cars. The only drawback is that it is fairly small and if you have a large baby, you will not get much use out of it. I had an average size girl and she grew out of it at nine months.

Great Carseat
This carseat is very easy to use and my child feels comfortable in it. It's quick to snap out of it's base and easy to snap back in. I bought this car seat because it was compatible with the Stokke Xplory with adapter. Excellent color options and not tacky like other carseat colors and patterns.

Convenient car seat!
This is a great car seat to use with the Quinny 4 stroller that we got. We didn't get the bassinet that comes w/ the stroller and just used this car seat w/ the adapter when we went out until our daughter was about 3 months old. She fusses a bit going into it but I think that would be the case for all car seats. Once she's in and we're moving, we're fine. The main buckle can be a little bit hard for me to latch but overall, it's a nice sturdy car seat that's easy to use.

Perfect fit
This light weight car seat is wonderful because it fits well in the back seat of our car. It also is adaptable to our quinny buzz stroller. I absolutely love it!
