The price of this book is obviously steep for a simple baby book, but this beautiful item by Binth is really a work of art that also serves as a recording place for all your baby's milestones and achievements. My husband bought this as a gift for me when we first got pregnant, and I am still scared to write in it because I don't want to mess it up! I have recorded all our baby ideas and memories in an electronic journal so far, but now that my son has just reached his first birthday I need to set aside a couple of hours to transfer all that information into this book with careful deliberation.
It comes in a protective box, but be careful because if you stand the journal on end in its box to display it, the box will eventually warp (I made this mistake). Of course, it's the protective cover and not the book that warped, luckily, but you will probably not want to mar a single aspect of this set.
If you are looking for a fill-in-the-blank journal with prompts (as in, a diagram of the mouth with dates to add to each tooth as it comes in) this will probably not meet your needs. This is a more free-style format, with lots of blank pages to write whatever you want. It's also probably not a book that you are going to want every single visitor with grubby hands pawing. It might be a good idea to get a less expensive backup for sharing purposes (or go with an additional online journal--that works very well and grandparents love it).
Although this book is a little pricey, I only have one chance to capture those first precious memories to share through future generations. This album is beautifully designed and made of high quality and I don't mind spoiling my baby girl once in a while when the product is as valuable as this book is to me.

Beautiful
This baby book is so elegant and beautiful. The colors are so special and the graphics reallyl lovely. It is a special book and a wonderful gift.
