Fresco Loft Chair

Fresco Loft Chair

More than just cool, the Fresco Loft Chair from bloom is an infant recliner, highchair, and toddler seat -- all rolled into one. And this special edition has all the features of the regular Fresco chair, but in a sleek new color with an extra five inches of height. The seat reclines fully, making it a cozy and secure sleeping pod for little ones over three months. It makes the perfect highchair, whether with a tray or for up-to-the-table or breakfast-bar feeding (with an ingenious 360-degree swivel for easy accessibility). Then, as your child gets older, remove the tray and center bar and it becomes a stylish, just-my-size toddler chair. One great chair -- three different functions!

Very stylish and functional!
This highchair is great because you can use it when your baby is little in the cradle position, as a highchair when they get a little bigger and then as a toddler seat. The loft version is great for sitting at an island.

Great Looking, Terrible Function
I loved this high chair and was SO excited when I received it as a gift at my baby shower. It was probably the one thing I was most excited about because of its cool design and all the different stages it covers. Well that love affair came to an end very quickly.

First of all, it is very hard to put together and the directions were obviously written by someone who does not speak English and translated very poorly. But I got through that and loved it anyway.

Once we started solids, that's when things really went downhill. There are SO MANY nooks and crannies on this thing due to all the moving parts and changing positions it can have that food gets stuck in every possible place. Little hands with mashed green beans really know how to find those crannies. And if you miss a spot after dinner and don't see it until the next morning, forget about ever getting it off with anything other than a scouring brush.

And I have a child with a propensity towards throwing up, making the situation 100 times worse because to clean that up, you have to take the high chair entirely apart to clean and put it back together again, which will take you a solid 20 minutes of time. Add finger foods to this and it's even worse!

And the leather seat cover's trim will get caked in food and you cannot put it in the washing machine, so just get used to it being a different color than the rest of the cover.

Terrible! Too complicated and just plain annoying!! Not a good choice unless you plan to have a child that never has messy fingers and will never miss their mouth when trying to feed himself.

I wish I'd just bought the Tripp Trapp!!!

I'm sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with this high chair. The main reason the company has not intergrated the seat pad into the actual chair, is so you can remove the pad and clean it with ease. A big mistake amongst new mommies is using the booster seat after 6 months of age with the small seat pad. This piece should ONLY be used from 0-6 months. . After that, remove the booster and attach the large seat pad. Usually when parents had the same complaint as you, this is what we discovered was the reason.
Please make sure the large seat pad is on correctly (attached to the two velcro strips and also secured by the harness). This will help avoid any instances of getting food stuck behind the seat pad.

Love it!!
I bought this highchair for my son about a year ago and absolutely love it!! My husband and I have a very modern home so it definitely fits right in. We also love that we can use it at our breakfast bar (The only highchair that goes up to 36 inches). Not only is this highchair aesthetically pleasing to the eye but you can tell a lot of detail and thought went in to the actually function of the chair as well. We loved that we could purchase it while he was a newborn and have it grow with him. I also found that I was able to move it around my kitchen very easily when needed due to the front wheels. I have not had any problems at all with the tray or pinching of any little fingers..It's a pretty straight forward design. Now that he is in the "upright feeding mode" we do not even remove the safety bar (only the tray for cleaning). Bottom Line...this chair is definitely worth the money, not only for the looks but for the function. Nothing else like it out there!!

Great design and most important safe!
You can see that the design is beautiful, the colors are bright and trendy, but what is most important I feel comfortable when my son is sitting in his high chair. It has a wide base which gives the high chair much stability (it can take a lot before it tips over when you push it..) Also, my son can move or wiggle and it won't move...
Besides this, it is great to have him high up. It is very comfortable feeding him.

great looking, so difficult to use
I loved this when I saw it, it looks modern and matches our decor. However, it is hard to put together, and there are a lot of nooks and crannies that get filthy if your child is not a neat eater. I do not love it, but wish I did, because it looks so good!

Great Chair
This is the coolest looking chair and it is perfect for our living area where we have an island that we pull up to eat at. Baby is right there with us. Chair is comfortable, easy to clean and fits our modern decor well enough to leave out all the time. Rolls on the floor well and great to have options to change color of pads. The chair is very stable. Will transition to a modern toddler chair too!
