Nothing beats a Boppy! Simple, smart and practical, it wraps around your waist and makes nursing and feeding more comfortable by supporting your baby in your lap. Add a slipcover (sold separately) to dress it up and protect it from everyday use. Why it's a giggle pick: A great value for the price, this is a baby basic that you'll really use, and you can even use it to help your baby learn to sit up in later months. Several Uses
I had intended to use the Boppy for breastfeeding, and then I discovered the simple design allows it to be much more versitile. We travel a lot, and here were some of the alt uses: a must have on the plane [so our baby could recline easily across a lap], as a support on the plane to help prop her up to sit, as recliner for our baby to sleep in when she was smaller [elevated her back and supported her neck], as a portable chair - especially when she was older, as neck support behind the couch when I was holding her over my shoulder, & over my legs when I'm reading or using the laptop. Our baby is 18 months old, and I still use it. The single reason to buy this over other products is: The simplicity of the design. It is much more versatile than a product that either goes around the back or has large detachable pillows and could never fit on a plane, in a travel bag, or on a rocking chair with arms. Also, there are a gazillion different slipcovers for it, so you don't have to become attached to something you think is tacky.

you need this
where my baby sleeps most of the day and saves my back
another must for the baby. it adapts to different stages a baby goes through, from newborn to propping a baby to sit, etc. some people use this to aid in breastfeeding, but for breastfeeding, i found my brestfriend to be more helpful. i would recommend getting both.

A must have!
Even if you're not nursing, this is one of those "multi-taskers" that's worth purchasing. I like the bar naked because you can buy whatever color slip you want, can remove it to clean it, and if you're buying it as a baby shower gift you don't have to worry about the "what if it doesn't go with their theme" deal. Use it to help hold your baby up while in your lap, for tummy time so the baby's face isn't in the floor, or as a back support for learning to sit. Definitely worth having around!
This is my absolute favorite go to pillow for nursing. The extra support is wonderful when positioning your newborn. As the baby grows, the boppy can also help to cradle and eventually support the baby for tummy time and sitting up. The boppy is as much for my comfort in caring for my little one as it is for my baby.

Who couldn't do without the Boppy? Not only did I use this for nursing, but everyone in my family has used it for extra support when holding our baby.

WONDERFUL!
This pillow was great to use for nursing and helped save my arms from dying holding up a baby's head for what could have been 45 min-1 hr at the beginning. It was also great to be able to put the baby in the pillow to nap during the first 2 months when napping would come out of nowhere and often came while nursing. It doesn't seem like it'll last through multiple babies which would have been nice for a $40 purchase but I suppose pillows shouldn't be kept for too long.

Cute, comfy, versatile
I love this pillow! It's a great way to prop baby up while breastfeeding and also a nice place for baby to chill. Plus, all the boppy slipcovers offer endless ways to customize the pillow to suit your style.

Not that practical
I loved the idea of the Boppy pillow, but found it hard to juggle the task of positioning one more thing when settling down to breastfeed. I am petite, and often the correct feeding height was difficult to achieve, but the Boppy didn't necessarily help. Baby would often slip down between me and the pillow. I did like that you could wash both the pillow and slipcovers if baby is a "spit-upper."
I loved my Bobby Bare Naked nursing pillow. It was great when my sons were newborn, but they outgrew it by 6 months or so(became too long) & I had to switch to a regular bed pillow. I love that you can put slipcovers on it when they spit up. I recommend this product because it's very helpful with positioning when you are beginning to breastfeed.
this pillow is a necessity! could not have gotten the hang of nursing nearly as well without it. very nice to have especially for those first few days when you are still recovering from delivery.
Not right size to breastfeed with. I am still breastfeeding my 4 month old (no formula) and use a baby pillow or reciving blanket for her head. Great for tummy time or sitting baby against.

BOPPPY LOVE!
I love love love my boppy!!! It has helped my back so much with nursing by elevating my babies enough to I don't have to lean forward. It is perfect for nursing infants AND toddlers!!!! Yes, you can also use your boppy to help you baby with sitting up and to prop them up during play time. I've even stuck my boppy in the washing machine! I love it!
The Boppy pillow and slipcover are absolutely indispensible! I use it all the time - whether for breast feeding or for just extra support while sitting in a chair - it's great! I have both the fleece slipcover (which is super soft and comes in great colors) and the peapod organic cover which is also very soft. I would highly recommend this product!

Boppy was Best Investment
I bought my boppy as an essential with my 1st son. Inow have 3 kids and it has been the essential baby item for all 3 of them, first for nursing, then for assisting with the baby sitting up. I did not realize when I bought this years ago, just how much and how often I would use it. Make sure this is on your list!
