Sleek, contemporary, and inordinately handsome, this bassinet stands firmly apart from its over-the-top-cutesy counterparts. The base is made of solid wood and has a curved bottom for gentle rocking. The basket has padded sides covered by machine-washable suede microfiber, and it includes a waterproof mattress and two fitted sheets.
Great bassinet. Pricey but worth it for the following reasons.
1. Easy to move from room to room. It's lightweight if you need to lift it, and glides nicely across carpet if you need to push it.
2. Soft fabric sides. When our son had an active night's sleep and waved his arms or legs around, the soft fabric sides prevented him (and us!) from being woken up if an arm or leg hit the sides.
3. Love the look -- we received many, many compliments on this. It really is such an attractive piece, and we wanted to stay as far away as we could from that Jenny Lind look.
4. You can rock your baby to sleep in this without getting out of bed, or even sitting up. One hand on the edge of the bassinet, and you're good to go!
5. Well made and of excellent quality.

Almost worth the price
We received this bassinet as a very generous gift, and as much as we love it, we'd probably not have purchased it for ourselves. Yes, it is well-constructed, and as attractive as it appears in the photos. It just costs a lot of money. If such matters are of no concern to you, then certainly buy it. The kid sleeps well, and safely.

Awesome!
We love this bassinet. It's size is perfect for right next to our bed and is roomy enough for us to change our daughter in. We love that it rocks but it actually bothers our daughter. Regardless, it's sturdy and minimalist, which we love.

Bassinet rocks
It looks great, it fits small spaces and it truly rocks. I think the best thing is that it rocks. Our girl does not like sleeping away from me but being able to put her in this at the foot of my bed and use my foot to rock it while we fall asleep has really helped ween her. It also looks really nice in our room and does not sting the eye like most baby products out there.

Sleek and Practical
I initially chose this bassinet based on its look, as it matched the rest of the contemporary decor in my apartment. Yet, I quickly realized that it is also very practical. The base allows you to rock your baby to sleep, which is great for babies who need that rocking motion. The bassinet also can be removed and brought anywhere, which makes this piece quite usable in various spaces. The one thing I would note is that as your baby gets heavier, the bassinet tends to tilt backward, with the weight of the babies head and upper body, so I just make sure to place him lower down on the bassinet and sometimes prop the base up a bit. This is more of an issue for babies that have reflux and prefer to be propped up slightly as well.

Fantastic bassinet
We are thrilled with the form and function of the Ninna Nanna bassinet. Its simple modern style, practical size, and comfortable/removable 'basket' make it a great choice for parents that want something other than the typical frilly options out there. Though pricer than the frilly options, we have found it to be well worth it!

Highly recommend this !!
I would highly recommend this as a baby's first place to rest its head. We purchased this bassinet for our firstborn and she just loved it !! Our baby loved the security of it since she felt cozy and comfy in the smaller space.
This bassinett is sleek and comfy for baby. I used it in the den the first few weeks my baby was born - important to buy the snuggle nest insert though otherwise baby will feel lost in it initially. I then moved it to our bedroom. My baby enjoyed sleeping and napping in it, especially that it rocked. The size is perfect for smaller spaces, it is easy to move around the house if needed and its modern look worked great on the main floor of the house. The color of the piece actually matched our bedroom as well. I would highly recommend this product.

Excellent for bedside
Form meets function, flawlessly. Fits perfectly at bedside and is at perfect height for immediate access to the baby. My wife and I couldn't be happier to have found a great bassinet that not only looks good, but most important the baby is comfortable.

Beautiful and Well Used!
This bassinet was gorgeous, comfy, well made, modern and easy to move around from room to room. I used it for the first six months way more than the crib. Great for breastfeeding moms that want baby close at night. Now I use it to store dolls and toys in my one year olds nursery. Definately a piece that could be passed down to next generation. Came with extra fitted sheet too. Highly recommend this product.

Great look, great motion
Our daughter absolutely loves this bassinet, as do her parents. We found the design to be much more contemporary than most of the alternatives, and with the rocking motion, a great way to mix traditional with our decor. Our daughter has used this from the time she came home until current (2 months), and loves it. She has enough room to reach up and down, and to the sides. Most importantly, the rocking mechanism is easy for her to start just by fidgeting, and is very smooth, such that she essentially rocks herself to sleep when she is restless. We highly recommend this bassinet.
