My son got this from Grandma for Christmas and he loved it, even though he was only 7 months old and needed (still needs, at 12 months) someone to push him around. He figured out how to hold onto the handles and balance himself, and now that he is taller (but not quite tall enough to reach the floor with both feet), he has figured out how to hold up his feet as he gets pushed around the house.
He also discovered the bouncy seat which he can operate with his own paltry twenty pounds, so I push and he bounces.
Even more awesome is the fact that the Fropper has a little hole in the back into which you can stick a long handle (I detach my long Swiffer handle for this purpose) so that you can push without bending over and breaking your back!
In sum, this toy is appropriate for even the smallest of babies, in small increments and with parental help. And it folds up very compactly!

Kid loves it, but hard to ride outside
Our daughter loves this bike, but when we take it to the streets, it's almost impossible to handle because the wheels don't turn. Inside the bike works fine - on hardwood floors.

love it and my son does too!
The Fropper is well made, the price is reasonable. He goes at his pace no runaways. Nothing he can get caught into. You can ride it, push it and fold it up when you are done. LOVE IT!! LOVE IT. We have purchase five of them as gifts...............

A huge hit with toddlers!
Our son just received this from his grandparents for his second birthday and he loves it! He was trying to ride it as we unfolded it from the box. He calls it his 'bike' and rides it all over our hardwood floors without leaving a mark - it is fantastic! We just had a ton of two year olds over for his second birthday party and they were all fighting over a turn at riding the bike. I highly recommend the Okiedog Fropper - and he hasn't even quite figured out the bouncing function of the bike. Because it folds up so well we might even take it on vacation. Awesome!
