Infant to Toddler
Being tight on space, I wanted one carseat that would fit our little one for some time! Having lost loved ones in car crashes, I also wanted the carseat to have excellent safety ratings. The Boulevard fits both criteria. For further peace of mind, check your local police or fire stations. They often are trained in carseat installations. This carseat was well worth the money, and may even save you some if you skip the infant seat. We purchased an inexpensive infant body positioner for extra head support -- it fit perfectly inside the seat and did not interfere with the harnesses.
When it was time for my daughter to graduate to a forward-facing car seat, I wanted something SAFE, regardless of the price. We live in NYC and are constantly shuttling her places in the car (g-parents, cousins', doctors appointments, etc.). Properly installed, this chair doesn't budge and she's comfortably nestled and protected. We were very recently involved in a hit and run accident on the highway and the only "harm" that came to my daughter was getting scared from the loud boom when the other car hit us. Thank goodness she was safe & sound! Although it is a bit bulky (not a good seat for those with more than one car who plan on moving it between the two(or more)), I highly recommend this car seat to the safety-minded parent!

Feels very safe
We have three of these, one in each car. They feel very sturdy and secure. When we had them installed by a car seat safety technician, he said that these were the ones he had for his own children. Plus, my baby falls asleep in them on a regular basis, so they must be pretty comfortable!
Transitioned my daughter to the Britax Boulevard when she outgrew her infant car seat. She loves the new seat (used to cry being put in the infant seat and doesn't with this one) and it seems really safe. I only have two issues - (1) it is difficult to follow the installation instructions. Many times it points you to the owner's manual of your car, which is our case wasn't helpful. (2) It is huge. We have a pretty big SUV and with this seat facing backwards the front seat has to be pushed very forward making it uncomfortable for most people to ride in it. Looking forward to turning the seat around. At that point it will be great!

Safety First is Worth it
We were a bit shocked at the price to purchase two of these, but it has been well worth the money. We joke our little one has a first class seat. We know she is safe - as we did much research. We know she is comfortable - she falls asleep easily in this seat. Furthermore, it is easy to keep clean, install and adjust. It is not inexpensive, but well worth the money.
We purchased this car seat because of its safety rating and because it is supposed to support a child up to around 80lbs. Our son was able to easily transition from his carrier to this seat. Because he is a big guy (super long), we moved him into this seat at about three months. He was comfortable and appeared secure even at that young age. There are some minor design flaws in the seat. First, the center belt (between the legs strap) does not adjust and I believe that this may become problematic as our little guy gets even bigger. He is long waisted and the belt may get too tight. Also, although the manual states that the seat should accommodate his height rear facing at his current length 32.5 inches, in reality, his legs are tightly pressed against the back of the car. I think he will be comfortable once again when he can turn forward (two more months). The seat is expensive, but since he will hopefully be using it for a long time, I think it is well worth the investment. (We actually purchased two).

This car seat looked huge but it actually fits better in our three cars than the infant car set (sedan, SUV, and coupe). It isn't quite as easy to adjust as claimed but it isn't bad. Removing and replacing the cover is no fun. I have noticed that my son doesn't get as sweaty in this seat as he did in the infant car seat, which is a big deal living in Phoenix.
I love the fabric they used to cover this car seat....it is so soft!! Our baby had an easy transition to this car seat and is very comfortable. It is also very easy to get her in and out. I think the will also enjoy it even more once we can face it forward.

Very safe carseat.
My husband was T-Boned on the drivers side. The other driver hit the rear-side drivers side door, right where my oldest daughter is sitting. The damage to the car was devastating however, my daughter was completely fine. The carseat didn't budge. Her head was protected by the headrest (which I will be forever grateful for, had it not been there who knows what would have happened). She didn't have a scrape, no bruises, nothing (other than being a little shaken up). I know when I first bought this seat (after hours and hours of research) my husband thought I was nuts for spending over $300 on a carseat. Now he is sold. We bought another one even though there was nothing wrong with the one she was in (just to be safe). I highly recommend this seat to everyone, you can't put a price on your child's safety. We will be purchasing another one for my youngest once she gets a little older and has better head control.
I really like the Boulevard CS. Our little guy looks nice and cozy in it with lots of room to grow into. He sleeps so peacefully in it too. I like that it has the side impact wings and I do not believe that it blocks his vision at all (I have heard this from other parents). Regardless, I would rather have the added safety feature and the Boulevard CS provides this. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that I wish it had an adjustable cr0tch strap. It does not seem to be a problem for my 1 year old but I wonder if it will be bothersome as he gets bigger.

Safe Easy & Comfortable
This car seat is great for saftey and comfort and is easy to install. It is a bit large but fits great in my full size SUV. Baby falls asleep in this seat easy...she hated being in an infant seat so it was such a relief when we switched over to this one. Nice neutral colors too, unlike some of the obnoxious colors and patterns that Britax comes out with which can be a turn off to people with any sense of style. But saftey rules and so does this car seat. Love it!
This car seat is relatively easy to use and appears to be comfortable for my 14 month old daughter. I really like the safety features and am very happy with my purchase. I wish I would have got this car seat before my little one was ozing out of her infant seat as it would work perfectly for a much smaller child.
