Travel lifesaver!
We frequently travel with our infant daughter and have found the pack and play to be clunky to lug around. We have only owned the peapod travel bed for a few months and so far it's been an absolute lifesaver. We've taken it to the the beach, the in-law's, the weekend lakehouse getaway, and even for weeknight get-togethers with friends. It pops up in a snap and packs up in less than a minute. Great for little ones who aren't quite on the move but we're hoping she'll love having her own little tent by the time she's ready to crawl!

best baby purchase we made
we tend to travel ALOT and are always worried about where baby will sleep when we do. im not too trusting of hotel cribs or the 35 year old ones at grandmothers house! the peapod is amazing, packs up very compactly in its own little bag, makes for very light travelling, and the little guy loves to be in it. if we'll be at the park or beach or friends house for the day and dont want to compromise on naptimes, we take this along and wherever we are we just set it up, throw a blanket over it and in he goes for a nap.

mattress is easy to blow up by mouth in just about a minute. we never used the 'sleeping bag' part though, looked unnecessary and possibly a little unsafe for young babies.

cant recommend this product highly enough!

Great for traveling
We took our 10 month old at the time to Paris for a week and had enough bags to carry. The Peapod Travel was perfect! it saved us space and he had a good night sleep. I always recommend this for traveling. It is a lot easier to carry than the play packs.

makes travel easy!
My son loved his peapod for the first 5 months but he now rolls over so much that I always find him wedged up against the side. It is supposed to work up to toddlers age so maybe we will revisit is again in a few months.

Peapod Perfect
A must for any traveling parent with a newborn to 2 year old. Easier and more portable than a Pack n Play, the Peapod pop up tent keeps baby comfy, cozy and safe nearby. The inflatable air mattress and zippered anti-UV panels protect her from cold, wind and sun. It folds down to the size of a barseat cushion for portability and storage. We took our 3 month old on our rock climbing outings and she slept...like a baby. We never worried about bugs, sunburn or wandering off. Same goes for hotel rooms (minus the bugs). It took us some headscratching to figure out how to repack the pod into its sack but after that it was a breeze to set up or pack up. You'll probably stop using the bed once your kid is up and walking but till then, use it at the park, the beach, rock climbing, the gym, grandma's house, eveen your own room.

Way better than pack and play
From Hong Kong to Washington DC this tent is way better than a pack and play...folds up small into your suitcase, light and easy to use. Great for traveling with your young one up to 3 years.

Pea Pod
Bought this for my 2 year old son to sleep in while on a road trip. Great for a sound sleeper, but my son is a roller. He would roll over and the whole tent went with him. He would wake up screaming in an upside down tent. We found it great for our infant at the beach.

While some of our customers do love it for travel, we agree with you - especially for very little ones, the Peapod is ideal for beach and park time! For a similarly small and travel friendly but more sturdy travel crib option, check out the Phil & Ted Traveller - our #1 pick for super small and light travel sleeping!

Packs small, opens big!
I got this to use with my 5 month old on a camping trip after I was tired of lugging a pack-n-play in our tent trailer. A great purchase! It folds up small like a car sunshade, but pops open to provide plenty of room for sleeping. My son is now 18 months and still has plenty of room in it.

Great summer buy!
We bought this travel bed for our recent beach vacation and loved it. Our four month old slept soundly in it on the beach (protected from harmful UV rays) and it doubled as a crib in the hotel room. Well designed - easy to set up and very portable. Can be used with or without the inflatable mattress. I have recommended this product to all my friends.
