Ridiculously Easy to Use
I wouldn't say I am very good with newfangled technology but the Flip Mino HD is so simple and well-designed that I was using it within seconds of taking it out of the box. Yes, I said seconds. It is really that easy to use! It takes incredible high definition video with decent audio quality. Best of all, it is very small, smaller than a pack of cigarettes or a deck of cards. It fits into any handbag or diaper bag and even most pockets, meaning I am much more likely to carry it around so I can whip it out at a moment's notice. It has no extraneous parts or pop-out lenses so you don't have to worry too much about your kids breaking it. It is PERFECT for capturing active kids- you can even print stills from your videos in case you have one of those toddlers who never, ever stops moving.
My husband keeps trying to steal it from me.

Great Camcorder
I received this camcorder as a gift and absolutely love it! Unfortunately, my husband is not tech savvy. That leaves all electronics to me. I was getting pretty tired of charging batteries, uploading, downloading, etc. etc. I wanted a quick simple gadget to capture some memories of my son. This camcorder fit the bill. Simple to use and upload video for emailing to his grandma!

Fabulous and easy to use!
We just love this video camera! Its so easy to use...you don't even need to read directions. I love how small it is...it fits in right in my pocket for trips to the park and so forth.

So Easy
With 3 kids I have no time to play with electronics. My husband purchased this (of course) and I love it! Its small and takes great video. downloads easy in the computer and also hooks to the TV with one wire.

Awesome!!
This stores a great amount of video space and allows us to easily hit record for a small snippet of video or record 10 minutes if we wanted and then very easily uploads to the computer and empties to start recording again.

love it
I keep it in the diaper bag so while we are on the go I can capture anything my funny girls will do. I never take out my regular video camera. The flip works nicely and easily with a mac too, very nice.

Capture candid moments with little prep
My baby's not born yet, but I've used this to record my neice for the last 9 months. It's perfect size to keep in your purse at all times, so easy to download onto your computer. I haven't used the editing software yet, but it looks pretty straightforward. No cables, no fuss. There is a USB connector built into the camera, so you just connect that to your computer and download all the video. That's also how you recharge the battery, through the USB. Minimizes dealing with taking the battery out and charging it.
I should mention that I don't have the HD version, so I can't comment on that one. But the basic Flip has been great and I love it.

Every parent should have one!
The Flip HD is fabulous! It is perfect for keeping in your diaper bag and having at arms reach for all of the cute baby moments that come along! For the price and ease of use, this is the video camera to go with...don't get confused shopping around for anything else! And videos are super easy to email to friends and family or to upload to websites!

Love the tiny size & ease of use!
The Flip is awesome! So easy to use...no more lugging a huge video camcorder out of the depths of a closet...by the time you do, the child has moved onto their "less-than-angelic" phase and you've missed the moment. My only hesitation is that, these days, you can really capture those video moments with your normal point-and-shoot digital camera. It's not as great of quality, but truly isn't bad considering how you'll ultimately use these 10-15 second clips.

capture all those special moments
i carry this in my purse with me everywhere. I can capture those don't-want-to-miss moments no matter where we are or what we are doing. And when I get home I can quickly upload those moments to youtube on my movie editor. The only problem I have is with the zoom button, some times it's hard to get it to work without causing a shaky image.

I'd purchase the flip video again, but not the HD!
I love the flip video camera! I have both the regular and the HD version. The HD version has wonderful resolution, but if you are planning on sending these online I'd just get the regular flip video. The HD files are huge! If you aren't worried about file size the splurge on the HD!

We agree! A definite trade-off between cameras that are HD is that they take longer and are more difficult to share. For those willing to give up a little in picture quality and prefer the ease, stick with the non-HD option.

we have an earlier version (not HD) but still just LOVE the ease of use with the flip. it doesn't hold much video but we only do little videos o like 2-10 minutes at a time so it's perfect. it's pretty easy to take off the camera (once you sort out how to do it on a mac). my favorite part is that i can have it in my purse/diaper bag all the time because it's so light.

Capture every moment!
I use this all the time! And my favorite one year old star has already learned how to record with it, it's that easy! Almost every baby I know loves pictures and videos and definately being part of the action. Every giggle, every step or even a new little dance can be captured with this pocket sized camera.
