When it comes to cribs, sometimes you've got to think small. Not only is the Alma Mini Crib a whole lot smaller than a standard-sized crib, it also folds for storage when not in use -- all without compromising anything in sturdiness or style. Why it's a giggle pick: Not everyone can accommodate a full-size crib, and we love the quality and style of this innovative option. Who it's perfect for: This mini crib is perfect for space-constrained parents, and it also makes a great extra crib to use at grandma's house or in a second home. When my daughter turned two months the Bassinet we had purchased was getting a bit too small! Not wanting to put her in the crib we purchased for her room - yes we wanted her with us all night - we began to search for something else. We had been using the Snuggle nest in our bed - and loving it - but needed to giver her her own space next to our bed (the arms rest co-sleeper just was not for us) We purchased the Alma crib in white and could not be happier. It is sturdy - good-looking - the mattress is organic - and she has plenty of room. It folds easily and is great to bring to grandma's house for the weekend (it is portable but heavy) She loves it too...

Great for newborns...but only newborns.
As one-bedroom-apartment dwellers, my husband and I were so relieved to discover this crib last summer, and it has been a savior since our son arrived last fall. Sleek, impossibly compact, and stylish, it sits at the foot of our bed and gave us easy access to the baby during those critical first weeks, while seamlessly blending in with the rest of our room. I dare say, it's absolutely perfect for newborns. That said, prospective buyers should really think of this more as a chic, modern co-sleeper than a crib that can sleep a baby of up to 24 months (as the manufacturer claims). I mean, our son has been able to reach both sides of the crib fingertip-to-fingertip while lying in the middle of the bed since he was just shy of three months old. At five months, he's still sleeping in this crib (as we search for a two-bedroom place...), but I'm really not sure how much longer I can keep him in it safely now that he's learned to roll over. He's constantly wedging himself into the sides in his sleep (ouch), getting his feet caught in the rails because he has no room to shimmy around, and the space limitations are getting visibly frustrating for him if he's ever left awake in there. As I said, it really is the perfect thing for newborns and I would buy it all over again if given the choice, but I have to say, it's sort of pricey for a bed that's a stretch at five-months (much less two years!).

The best for urban parents
We were in the store and saw this and had to have it...on wheels...folds up for easy transport and storage AND has a sleek modern look...perfect!! We love it!
We live in a lovely, but small, space and needed a crib that wouldn't take up vast amounts of room - the Alma crib fit the bill.
It's incredibly easy to set up and the optional wheels are a major bonus. The whole thing is very sturdy and well-made, as well as fitting in with the rest of our contemporary decor.
This crib is all it's cracked up to be! Absolutely perfect. It's light and small but very sturdy like a full size crib. Yet it folds up to put away when not in use. Perfect for grandma's, a second home or if you Nanny-Share, perfect second crib. I would not use this as your only crib only because it IS too small - your child will not really be able to sleep in there past 1.5 yrs.

Very Happy
My parents bought this for us as a gift, knowing we were converting our walk-in closet to a nursery. It is perfect! We have tried it with our friend's 18 month old, and he fits fine (although was a little put off because he was used to a larger crib). It is a great crib for a small space, goes up in seconds, and is very sturdy. We are looking forward to using it with our little one!!!

Great Crib
We've had the crib for about 2 months. This crib is a great size, the width is about the same as your average dresser, so it can fit along a wall very nicely. It's just as good looking as it appears on the website. I have no complaints about this crib.
this is a nice crib if you don't have a lot of space.when the baby is sleeping, you put the crib down, when they wake up fold it up and stand in a corner or behind a door
