Great in theory but a little tempermental
I really liked this thermometer for several of the digital features, including storing temperatures and times; as well as the ability to change out attachments depending on how the temperature was taken. What is disappointing is how the attachments click on, or rather don't - occassionally there would be an error reading, but with only one of the attachments, the others would be fine. Within the first six months of having the thermometer two of the three attachments would only result in an error reading; however, the thermometer clearly still worked with one of the attachments. In reading the instruction manual with the thermometer, and calling SafetyFirst, this was presented as a known problem. I finally replaced the thermometer with another brand, similar style. I don't have any greater confidence in my new model, but thankfully (and hopefully) it's not something I will need to use often! When it works correctly, great thermometer with no concern over a misreading or misinterpreted results. When it doesn't work, it can be extremely frustrating, especially when you have a sick baby.

not all i had hoped for...
i was smitten with the idea that this thermometer had 3 options. unfortunately, the under arm option has never produced an accurate reading. the rectal option has been fine and we haven't moved to the oral yet. has a lot of buttons that i just haven't needed...

I love the fact this thermometer gives 3 opinions of checking my baby's temperature, but unfortunately, the readings where never consistent or accurate. Instead, I got another thermometer for half the price that worked much better.
