I bought this rocker and the matching ottoman quite frankly because of its sleek look and comfort. I loved that it went with the minimal feel of my apartment. I never realized how happy I'd be with a piece of furniture. Not only has it withstood countless hours of nursing, bottle feeding, singing, reading and watching playtime but the appearance has endured and has been so easy to wipe clean (note, feedings can get messy). Everyone from my baby nurse, husband, parents (even my dad) have spent time planted in this chair and noted its comfort. The thing I appreciate most is that it can actually work in another room in my home - other rockers are too traditional and "baby room" looking to float into a living room or master bedroom. If you're considering a rocker (and have room for the ottoman), definitely go for this one.

The Bridesmaid Glider you can really use again!
We purchased this glider before we had our first baby and so we knew we needed a glider, but weren't sure how often we would be using it! This glider is perfect in many ways. The color and style are great, but as a "seasoned" parent of a now 7 month old girl, we know that while style is great, it is not key! The glider is the perfect size for me to nurse my baby. I have found that many chairs are either too narrow so baby girl hits her head or her feet are cramped. Or, they are too big and therefore I don't have any arm/shoulder support. We did not buy the ottoman because of spacial constraints, but I do wish at times we had it. The best part about this the glider doesn't scream nursery so I can definitely imagine moving it into my room when baby girl is older or perhaps leaving it our baby's room as she grows. It's definitely worth the money- its a quality product!

Ideal for before baby & with baby
My husband and I bought this chair fairly early on in my pregnancy, based on a friend's specific recommendation for this chair. I am a graphic designer so aesthetics are important to me. We did some research, and even just based on looks alone this looked like the chair. We tried it out in-store and bought one in stone. While waiting for baby I have used it a lot, and appreciate the smooth gliding it offers. It is also comfortable for very long periods of time with no muscle fatigue. I have been experiencing a lot of back pain during my pregnancy and so I often sleep sitting up in this chair now, during the 3rd trimester, with a neck pillow. It will be wonderful once baby arrives. I am very happy that we didn't compromise on this purchase.

Love this chair!
I love this chair! It was extremely comfortable to sit in while I was pregnant and now that I am nursing I use it dozens of times a day. My baby is almost 6 months old now and she is even practicing sitting in this chair (as it's in her room). Most importantly it is so easy to clean! Every time she spits up on it i just use a baby wipe and it cleans like magic! I do recommend the ottoman as well, it just increases the comfort. We have both in a very small room and it doesn't take up too much space!
As soon as I sat and tested this rocker in the store, I knew I had to have it. The gliding is so smooth and the chair is super comfy, but you don't sink and disappear into the cushions, so it helps me maintain good posture, especially nursing. Everyone, including myself, also comments on how sleek and modern the chair is, to the point that many have recommended I move it to my family room once we're done in the baby's room...and I think I will! We purchased the chocolate fabric - it's important to note that some of the fabrics have different textures, so ask your giggle store if you can see the samples of all the different colors. I would also recommend the ottoman or a nursing stool to rest your feet on. The gliding is so relaxing that you'll need something you keep you grounded!

Wonderful Glider
I wish I had purchased this glider prior to my son being born. My son loves being fed in the glider. Its not only more comfortable for both of us but he loves the motion and helps get him back to sleep quicker. I love the design of this glider and that you can customize the fabric and colors. My only complaint is the angle of the back rest. The angle doesn't allow you to rest your head back with out a pillow for support.

Stylish and Comfy
We tested out a bunch of gliders before deciding on this one - and we love it! It is spill proof and stylish. It looks great and is really comfy (we spent a lot of time in it!). Our daughter is now 7 months old and we plan to continue to use it in her room for story time, and once we don't need it in the nursery, we are going to find another place for it in the house!

Great Glider!
We LOVE this glider! It was a bit of splurge, but it makes the late night feedings better, and everyone more comfortable! It looks great in our nursery and fits in perfectly with our style - contemporary, but will go in an older home.

Great piece
Bought this glider before my son was born. He's now 2 and my only regret is that we kept putting off getting the ottoman because of space issues. We've since moved and have space and I'm back to get the ottoman for our next little one. The glider now looks great in a sitting/tv room and everyone who visits loves it's comfort and style. Used it endlessly during infant months but dreamed of the ottoman for my achy legs in the middle of the night...

Wish I had bought this 5 years ago
My only regret about this glider is that I didn't have it when my daughter was born! My son's room is small so we needed a small rocker/glider. The Luca has a small footprint but is the perfect size. So stylish, sleek and of course comfortable. When he outgrows the need to be rocked, we will have no problem whatsoever moving the Luca Glider into our living room or den because it looks like non-nursery furniture.
Here's a little tip: I appreciate that the lumbar pillow is included but I don't use it on my back. Rather, I put it under the arm that supports my son's head as I nurse him. Sometimes, when he's sleeping, I'll even lay his head down on it so I can use both hands on my iPhone.
I recommend getting the ottoman too because it lets you rest your legs and feet. Angling your legs up is helpful for nursing too - it helps with positioning your child and reduces back pain. (I assume it's beneficial for bottle-feeding parents as well!)

Chocolate Glider and Ottoman - a great addition!
The Luca Glider is amazing! My body was extremely uncomfortable during my first two weeks after delivery (recovering from delivery and from hunching over while breastfeeding). I decided to order the Glider and it made a night and day difference IMMEDIATELY. The glider is great with the ottoman and the boppy. It makes middle of the night feedings much more enjoyable. I've even napped in the chair while others have held our little one! We ordered the chocolate color to coordinate with our living room furniture. We like that it is a great piece of furniture. We plan to also use it for reading to our little one.

This chair has been a great addition to my son's room. Perfect size for a small or large room, great for nursing or rocking the little one to sleep.

Very smooth nursing!
If there were four 1/2 stars I would have given the Monte Glider that rating. It's a very good glider! It has a very smooth glide and so does the ottoman that goes with it. It is extremely well constructed. We've had it for 9 months so far but I think it will last a lifetime. It wipes clean when a little milk gets on it and so far hasn't held onto a stain. I love the look of it and so does everyone who comes into our apartment! The first thing most people do whether it be my eight year old's friends or my eighty year old neighbors- they all go right for that glider and take a swing! It's worked well for my new baby and our nursing sessions. There a couple things that I don't love about it, one is the piping around the arms, it looks great but bugs my sensitve, bony arms. It's not terrible but it's a bump that you lay part of your arms on once in a while so it's a little uncomfortable when I put my arms in certain positions. The last thing is the ottoman, it's very big for NYC apts. but you need an ottoman for the glide action so it's the matching one or bust! It's also quite expensive for just an ottoman (we recieved it as a gift :> ) ) But on a positive note I think it will also last forever and I've sat on it and it is very sturdy so I think it can easily double as a seat if you need an extra when you have a party! (I wish I would have tried the Monte glider that also reclines, my baby likes falling asleep on me and would be nice if I could lay back with my feet up! In any case, Monte makes some very hip and comfortable gliders!!)

Good option for style and space contraints
I like the style as it looks great in my daughters room. Having said that-its comfortable but is not as comfortable as the traditional racking chairs. My back needs more support than the pillow it comes with and the seat cushion needs to be adjusted/pushed back into place very often. Also if you are larger than the average woman--it can be snug. My friend who is a size 8+ felt it was a bit small for her.
If i wasn't so strained for space and wasn't so style focused and purely thought about function over form-I would look into more comfortable options.

Helpful Hint -- Any adult seating should offer an optimal fit for the user(s). We recommend testing-out your nursery seating options at your neighborhood giggle location to make sure you'll experience hours of comfort!

Totally worth it
I was lucky enough to try out the Luca glider and ottoman at a friend's house, and was instantly convinced I needed it. I hesitated because of the cost, but finally I bit the bullet. I love resting in it, feeding my son in it, and reading to him. I love that the color (I ordered gray) and style fits my decor. This chair will outlast the baby phase and is a fantastic purchase.
I have been glued to this chair and I could not be happier about it! The arms are the perfect height to support and it is extremely comfortable. Worth the money!!!

best glider
comfy and stylish this is the best glider out there and I tried them all before buying. Ive spent countless hours nursing, rocking and reading stories in this and love it. Plus it is super stylish and sleek. A must for the modern nursery.
I am in love with this chair, I am so happy that we got it for the nursery. I have logged so many hours on this chair, that it has been well worth the investment. We chose it not only for the comfort and eco-conscious company, but we feel that it will easily fit into a family room in the future. Baby is starting to practice standing and the ottoman is the perfect height for him to lean against and pound his little hands on top. Also, spit-up wipes off very easily with a damp rag and has yet to stain the material.

Amazing Fabric!
We ordered the Luca in brown and its been amazing. It doesn't take up near as much space as other gliders we had looked at. Because of its design, we'll have no problem repurposing it to another room when our little man needs extra play space in his. By far the best thing about this chair is the stain-resistant fabric. It's so easy to clean and NOTHING leaves a mark, spit-ups, messy diapers and all.
